Hang the tray by placing the hanger loop over the wall hook. Basically narrowing the part you would shove in the sleeve. Bend it howere much is needed to hod the tray secure. The bend the narrowed point up ward to hold the tray. These trays seem a bit flimsy but considering what they are made of you cant expect them to be heavy duty. Leave the hange part intact.

I might add some glue to hold the handles in place and facing outward. I would try hanging lamp chandelier chain it comes in different finishes attached with s hooks spray painted to match chain attached to the tray handles suspended from a decorative knob screwed into the wall. You can also cover the chain with a cloth sleeve. To hang i used a twist tie to secure the round platter to the nail in the wall.
