Attach stone or tile trim to the front edge of the tub with silicone to cover an uneven floor tub joint. Lay some thinset on a notched trowel and spread it evenly on the wall and then lay your first piece of tile in place. Spread a thin layer of white latex additive thinset mortar over the area you want to install the limestone on. Press the tile against the wall and slide it up in down a little to ensure all the ridges are fully collapsed. You will want to take extra care to protect the tiles from absorbing color from mortar and grout while you put them into place.
